Do you know when you download an album or song and forget about it completely? Then one day when you try to switch it up completely and throw it on shuffle... Then you become super stoked on the random song that you heard for the first time? Well this is what happened with this track:

So after being stoked on the track, I wanted to hear more from "Kweli Kwal"... and I was throughly impressed. Talib Kweli has that unique, true flow. He doesn't need autotune, he is similar to Nas & Jay-Z. I listened to "The Beautiful Struggle" over and over again the last couple of days... Probably one of my favorite Hip Hop albums now.

Vampire Weekend!!

"No Mom, I don't have to dress-up like a vampire for my staff trip".

I was fortunate and priviledged to be invited by Asif Moola & Momentum, to Vampire Weekend Live in Edmonton. Me and 6 staff members hundled up in the good 'ole mini van, and headed 6 hours west. The trip was awesome. It was a hot and sweaty drive up. But we made it.

We stayed at The Metterra Hotel on Whyte, right beside Julio's Bar & Grill.

@ Julio's Bar... we consumed alcohol and tequila before heading to the concert(Vampire Weekend) at The Edmonton Events Center.

Vampire Weekend was soo good live, it was definitely as good or better then the CD.

After the amazing show. We went to a bar called Black Dog... We danced. hahah

Montecore.

I recently(2 months ago) traded in Montecore, for a 2009 Black Hyundai Accent.

Montecore is now a name that will be remembered. That '93 Plymouth Acclaim had a heart of a champion and a roar of a White Tiger. Memories of chilling out in the backseat, hookah sessions, listening to gangsta rap, and of course picking up that drunk friend. My memories will always remain in my heart, and hopefully that memory that you have will be cherished.

I have been extremely busy with work, just getting caught up on spring happenings at work has left me zero time for blogging. Also, I just got back from my Edmonton staff trip! It was SICK! Saw Vampire Weekend Live! SO GOOD! I will post videos and pictures from the trip ASAP.

Group of very talented Canadian musicians get together to perform K'naan's "Wavin' Flag", to help raise money for Haiti. In my opinon, Canada destroyed America. Drake's verse is immaculate. So dope.

I got over my fear of heights and went cliff diving. Apparently, this is where they filmed the Forbidden Pool in Lord of the Rings The Two Towers. I like to tell people I did a 360 backflip.

I honestly could not say that a year ago I had the same music taste. I think its maturity? or just a need for change? ... I have no idea what it is. Soul music used to be playing in my dads car all the time, even at his work.. I honestly could not handle it, too church-ish for me. But now I can say that Soul, and R&B music is probably my two favorite genres right now. My good friend Lindsay said to me last week, "You listen to alot of R&B, Your HipHop music is even more R&B then HipHop." I honestly find it mind boggling, how much someone can change there "style" and "taste" in a short year.. So... back to what your here for!..

Anthony Hamilton, has been playing at work, home and in my car for the past two months! Very, very chill Soul Music. My Favorite Album of his is "Ain't Nobody Worryin'", released in 2005.
