Tuesdays With W.I.L.T.

This past week I have been listening to the same old stuff, usually would just throw in "So Far Gone" or "The Warm Up". But, yesterday I was searching for something different, something that was fresh to my ear.

I threw on Donnis' "Diary Of An Atlanta Brave" Mixtape, and I was stoked. Every song, is a hit. Production supplied by, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Needlz and more. He also worked with Bun B, Colin Munroe, etc. Released the mixtape with 10 DEEP, after names like KiD CuDi, and Wale.

Download the Free Mixtape Here

watch the trailer for the mixtape, below.

The Hundreds Johnson Low. Spring 2010.

The Hundreds really put out a "solid" line-up(no pun intended..) this spring. With alot of there "pieces being plain/clean, and colorful. I don't know if you have worn the Johnson model before?... but I have, I have 3 pair, right now they are in my weekly rotation, super comfortable, dress up or dress down you will look good either way. They give off a "sneaker" vibe, but in reality they are skate shoes.

Check out the new colorways in the low model, personally I like all of them.

If your looking for a shop that carries The Hundreds Footwear, and you live in Saskatchewan;
Check out Momentum on 8th Street.

D.Wade Is Intense.

KiD CuDi is an actor.

Crooks&Castles. Spring 2010 LookBook.

I'm actually really surprised by Crooks&Castles this season, usually they aren't as clean or fashion oriented. All these "looks" look real good, my favorite is the one with the white 5 panel and navy jacket. Check out Momentum Marketplace for Crooks and Castles, word on the street is they just received a couple of boxes from them.

Pharrel and his "Mario Kart" Bling.

This is hard as fuck.. hahah

I Like Oreos... Do You?!

I'm am usually not a HUGE fan of Jordan 6's, but these are real "clean".

The Hundreds Magazine. Issue 2.

The Hundreds put out there first magazine in Fall 09, you can purchase it here. They basically focus on interviews, photography, and there next seasons look book. Well, they are at it again! and this time they are going big! They teamed up with 13TH Witness, featured in previous "Fotography Fridays". 13TH Witness has been doing really great things lately, working with faces like "Maestro Knows" to "Futura", crazy how people know people that know people...

Here are a couple of photos that 13TH took during The Hundreds Magazine Photoshoot:

Here are a couple of pieces expected for The Hundreds Spring 2010:

Expect to see more from this in the coming weeks.

Fotography Fridays.

All photos were taken by Bobby Hundreds. Bobby traveled to Japan to produce some clothing for The Hundreds, While there, he had a chance to shoot alot of interesting/cool photos. I really like his style of photography, it seems really natural.

This Was Awkward.

I don't know why? .. but when I watched this... I was embarrassed for them both. Robin Thicke was dancing like "Richard Simmons" and Nicki Minaj... was just being herself. I couldn't handle the awkward-ness.

New-Z & Auz-Z

This is Aristo Lam a.k.a BestKeptSecret, the new writer for ListenUp. I'm heading for New Zealand and Australia TODAY @4:55 Saskatoon time. I will be gone for 5 months, backpacking and working. I probably won't be able to blog much, let alone have internet service, but I'll try to keep ListenUp posted on what I'm up to....which will most likely or definitely involve acting out key scenes from Lord of The Rings.

To quote Dwight Shrute: "I will travel to New Zealand, and walk the Lord of The Rings trail to Mordor and I will hike Mount Doom."

BestKeptSecret.

I know the anticipation has been driving all you crazy. BestKeptSecret has been writing for us for about a week now, he has definitely brought a lot to our project, I have really enjoyed working with him. And we are excited to work together, I know he will bring different style and views. He is one of my really close friends, I respect his opinion.

now.. the "Best" "Secret" is no longer "Kept":

"Drop It On Your _____ Head?"

Drake, Lil Wayne, Eminem and .... Travis Barker, teamed up for a Grammy quartet. Probably, one of the best live performances I've seen all year(2010)... sorry for all you viewers that watched it on TV, you missed about 20 seconds of the song. hahah.

I really enjoy it when an artist can go out of there "element" but continue to bring there talent in a productive and unique way.

For all you, that enjoyed the Travis Barker contribution to the song.

Kanye's Kicks

Louis Vuitton Don's All Colorways

Louis Vuitton Mr. Hudson's

Louis Vuitton Jasper's / Louis Vuitton Don's Mid

Nike Air Yeezy's

Kanye West Bapestas

Reebok S. Carter CL Lows

The Kanye 808's and Heartbreak customs I posted before made me think: "I wonder what Kanye would think of those." Well, since Kanye is also a shoe designer, I decided to go back and look at all the shoes he'd produced throughout his career. I was pretty impressed with his work, so I decided to share what I found. Since my first post got me to write THIS post, does that mean "I inspired me?"
